Mrs. Holt's senior Creative Writing class has spent the last few weeks creating their very own Children’s Books! They have worked on target audiences, graphic design, and proper presentation to write and illustrate their own books. Now they have the opportunity to read their books to several elementary classes! #triopia
Our Class of 2023 "Senior Class Spotlight" for today is for Blake Hutson. Blake's favorite teacher has been Mr. Doyle and his favorite class has been band. While in school, Blake has participated in football, scholastic bowl, and band. Outside of school, Blake is part of the National Guard, and enjoys gaming and airsoft. After graduation, Blake plans to be involved in military service, and also attend a university majoring in computer science.. He also says he enjoys old rock from the 80s and 90s, and that inspired him to learn the guitar and the synthesizer. We are proud to have had Blake at Triopia and we are excited to see what he accomplishes after graduation! #triopia #seniorspotlight
Our Class of 2023 "Senior Class Spotlight" for today is for Isabel Johnson. Isabel's favorite teacher has been Mr. Doyle. Outside of school, Isabel works at Arby's. After graduation, she plans to attend Western Illinois University in Macomb. Isabel also has a pit bull at home named Gracey. Triopia Schools will be closed Monday, April 3 through Tuesday, April 11 for Spring Break. Classes will resume on Wednesday, April 12.

Triopia Jr/Sr High School is excited to announce our 2023 spring musical will be held April 21st-23rd. This year's musical is Children of the Rainbow, written by Ken Bradbury. Shows on April 21st and 22nd will start at 7 pm, the performance on April 23rd will begin at 2 pm. Tickets are $7, advance ticket reservations can be made by calling the JH/HS office at 217-457-2281, Ext. 1021. Tickets will also be available at the door.

While at school, Anna has also been involved in the school play. Outside of school, Anna is involved in dance and musical theatre. She is undecided about her plans after graduation, but thinks she may go to college. Anna also points out at she has the best dog ever named Mr. Murphy. While at school, Jaelen has also been involved in NHS. Outside of school, Jaelen likes to hang out with friends and listen to music. After she graduates, she will attend Illinois College to study Psychology and will room with her best friend Ellie. Jaelen also points out that has enjoys shopping at Goodwill and collecting crystals. The baseball & softball games for today @ Illini West have been rescheduled for tomorrow. The baseball game @ North Mac originally scheduled for Thursday will now be played Wednesday, March 15th at 3:30 pm.
SAT Day is fast approaching (4/12)! To help our Juniors better prepare for the bid day, Mrs. Holt will be holding SAT Prep Workshops in her room during Advisory. Juniors who are interested in attending these workshops need to sign up on Mrs. Holt's door by Friday (3/17)!
Parents, if you want your Junior to attend, be sure to remind them to sign up by Friday!
