Our Class of 2023 "Senior Class Spotlight" for today is for Riddick Workman. Riddick's favorite teacher has been Mrs. Dober and his favorite class has been Spanish IV. While in school, Riddick has participated in scholastic bowl and NHS. Outside of school, Riddick works at Wal-Mart and also enjoys taking walks, playing video games, and hanging out with his friends and pets. After graduation, Riddick will attend LLCC with plans to become a field biologist in the future. Riddick also says his favorite reptile is a Komodo Dragon! Last weekend the high school scholastic bowl team finished 33rd out of 142 teams at the National NAQT Scholastic Bowl Tournament in Chicago. Congrats to all team members!



Our Class of 2023 "Senior Class Spotlight" for today is for Zach Bolton. Zach's favorite teacher has been Mrs. Burchard and his favorite class has been band. While in school, Zach has participated in the band, football, and basketball. Outside of school, Zach likes to play basketball and being with family. After graduation, Zach will attend Indiana State with an undecided major. Zach also went to state in track during his 8th grade year! Several students in Spanish 2 and 3 took the national Spanish exam in March. Ashton Stanberry received a bronze award for her high score while Lilly Pate and Lily McEvers earned honorable mention for their achievement. Way to go, ladies!!

While in school, Ellie has participated in volleyball, Student Council, NHS, and Scholastic Bowl. Outside of school, Ellie works at Buffalo Wild Wings and likes to hang out with friends. After graduation, Ellie will attend Illinois College with Jaelen and will work towards a Bachelors in Nursing. Ellie says she also loves to collect vinyl records.
