The Scholastic Book Fair is back and will be set up for students to browse and shop with their class tomorrow. It will also be set up tomorrow after school until 5:30 pm and also Thursday morning from 7:50-9:00 am for parents to shop as well. The book fair will be set up in the GS gym - please enter using the cafeteria doors.

Our Class of 2023 "Senior Class Spotlight" for today is for D.J. Dennis. D.J's favorite teacher has been Mr. Doyle and his favorite class has been band. While in school, D.J. has participated in band and NHS. He has also worked for the school in our "work study" program as a night time custodian! Outside of school, D.J. participates in 4H. After graduation, D.J. will attend LLCC or MTI. D.J. also says he is very interested in cars! We are proud to have had D.J. at Triopia and we are excited to see what he accomplishes after graduation! #triopia #seniorspotlight

Community Garden Planting Day was a success! The weather was beautiful and the students all took part in planting the vegetables! The FFA Petting Zoo was an added bonus - thanks to all the members that brought animals for the kids to see and learn about! Last Friday during National Volunteer Week, our staff spent the afternoon giving back to the community. This included:
-Working at the Arenzville Food Pantry
-Working at P.A.W.S. in Jacksonville
-Making blankets for charitable agencies
-Picking up trash around the streets of Chapin
-Cleaning out buildings on the campus of Triopia
We are thankful for the time our staff dedicated during this important day! #triopia

While in school, Olivia has participated in NHS. Outside of school, Olivia works at JCPenney and likes to hang out with friends. After graduation, Olivia will attend LLCC and will hopefully travel to many different places later in life. Olivia says she has been out of the country before! While in school, Eli has participated in scholastic bowl, NHS, and as the football manager. Outside of school, Eli likes video games and stargazing. After graduation, Eli will attend Culver Stockton. Our Class of 2023 "Senior Class Spotlight" for today is forJaci Stambaugh. Jaci's favorite teachers are Mrs. Holt and Mrs. Wardell and her favorite class has been Ceramics. While in school, Jaci has participated in softball, volleyball, and FFA. Outside of school, Jaci likes to try new cooking recipes and sleeping. After graduation, Jaci will attend LLCC and study radiology. When asked for a random fact, Jaci said she was able to spend her 18th birthday in Hawaii! The regular board meeting originally scheduled for May 17th has been moved up one week, to May 10th, at 7:00 PM.
April 16th-22nd is National Volunteer Week, and the Triopia staff will be participating in many activities tomorrow after the students are dismissed to commemorate the day!
This includes:
-Volunteering at the Arenzville Food Pantry

-Picking up trash in our local communities
-Making No Sew Blankets for Charitable Agencies
-Etc.
